Today a hope you having a great
day today, today I'm taking a look at the
top 5 screen for your screen recorders
so these go range from simple where
you're just capturing your screen i easy
output to adding a webcam to even
creating the green screen effect like I
have behind me with the floating head
and all these will be non-water marked
free free apps that will work for you
now I use Camtasia in my videos so I'm
not using a free one but these are great
places to start with if you're just
starting out and don't want to spend any
money on it I know there's a lot of
youtubers that start with some of these
apps that I'm going to show you today
and the other thing I put together in
the description is just a kind of 25
tips that I put together the process
that I go through when I create my
screencast before I upload them to
YouTube but anyway let's get started
here today with these top 5 free
screencast here for your PC so first up
is free camp this is a super easy one to
use and I like it because it you can
even do some editing after you capture
your screen so you can kind of take a
look at the options where he can go
through and fine-tune your videos and
even upload to things like YouTube right
away I have it already open here you can
see with the the selection area around
and I can size it to a larger area
simply by dragging it and I can move it
around to different parts of my screen
we have some settings right here so if I
go into the settings you can see where
you can add your shortcuts change your
microphone and then even to the advanced
where you can show your mouse cursor
just by going through a few clicks so if
I go ahead and just hit the record
button and you can see it's beginning to
record and I'm just going to record for a
few seconds here just just to show you
where you can do some editing after so I
can go ahead and I can hit pause the
recording or hit the done over here so
now what I like is it opens it up and
preparing it in another view and this is
where you can see you can upload
directly to YouTube save as a video when
you save it as video I it
only does come up as a WMV here so
that's your only option the output but
remember you can take a WMV and put it
into other free video editors and put it
together in sequences on it but I like
how you can go in this one and go with
the editing and you can go through and
pick a certain area so if I highlight a
certain area you can see where I can
delete a chunk on it or I could take
take apart from the back of this and you
hit trim on it so you can go through and
do some adjusting right in it so super
easy to use this is what I would suggest
if you're just looking for something
simple it does only output in the one
WMV just so you know and at 720p but
other than that this is a great product
to start with and it has no time limits
to it so he can record for as long as
you want so next up is the ice cream
screen recorder I really like this one
this is incredibly - easy to use but a
few more options the one thing it
doesn't have you can only go for 10
minutes at a time like the other one was
unlimited time this you're at 10 minutes
of time but not a big deal because you
can still put this together after using
free video editing software and adding
things like text and everything but I
love the options again simple to use if
we take a look at the settings first and
we take a look at the different options
that you have the last one you only had
one output but you can see you have a
number of different outputs that you can
go through you still can set up your
hotkeys through here and wear your
custom paths on it but I'm just going to
go ahead and hit the Save Settings I'm
going to capture full screen in here again
you can see all the different options
you can capture we can look there's game
capture screen shots and capture audio
but I just want to do a quick demo here
I have two displays happening on my
computer right now so I'm going to go ahead
and click display one on it and I'm just
going to bring this up so you can see it.
