Of all automotive indulgences, convertibles are the sweetest. Although they're typically more expensive, heavier and more impractical than their sedan counterparts, drop-tops offer more smiles per gallon. Even as automakers strive to meet increasing governmental and consumer demand for more efficient sedans and crossovers, they still save their most expressive efforts for convertibles, which are available in nearly every imaginable style: 2-seat sportsters, 4-seaters designed more for touring than corner carving, an off-road convertible and, at the other extreme, folding hardtops with advantages of both sedan and convertible. Click through to view 20 of the most interesting convertibles of 2013.
