Kim Kardashian deposed in drawn-out divorce: 'I loved Kris Humphries'

For nine hours on Tuesday, Kim Kardashian faced a chapter of her life that she (and the rest of us) would prefer to forget. TMZ says the stork-awaiting starlet sat for an extended deposition in her attempt to divorce her husband of 72 days, Kris Humphries.

During her testimony at the Los Angeles office of her attorney, Lauren Wasser, Kim reportedly denied that TV ratings had anything to do with her decision to tie the knot with the basketball player. She told Humphries' lawyer, Lee Hutton, that she was in love when she accepted his proposal and when she agreed to walk down the aisle in a lavish, E!-filmed ceremony.

Humphries, who was a no-show at the deposition despite his lawyer arguing in court that he had a right to attend, wants their brief union annulled, insisting he was a victim of fraud. Kardashian is eager to be free of him before she gives birth to the fruit of Kanye West's loins.

According to Radar Online, Kris' lawyer focused some of the questioning on whispers that ongoing stress from the divorce proceedings caused Kim to experience a miscarriage scare.

"Kim admitted that it wasn't just the divorce that caused the scare, but rather her very active lifestyle, which has included numerous promotional appearances that require travel," asserts a source. "Kris feels this is yet another ploy by Kim's camp to make him look bad. The only stress Kim is experiencing is temper tantrums because Kris isn't just going to give her a divorce because it's convenient for her."

Although, at this point, is it really convenient for anyone? Kim and Kris committed to stick together forever on August 20, 2011. They called it quits a little more than two months later.

A trial is scheduled for May 6.

Khloe Kardashian furious over claims she cheated on Lamar Odom

The tabloids have put Khloe Kardashian on blast this week, with both Star and Life & Style accusing her of two-timing husband Lamar Odom with rapper The Game.

In typical Khloe style, she quickly countered by slamming the reports as "disgusting."

"Khloe's Revenge: Cheating on Lamar!" trumpets the cover of Star, which contends that she's trying to make her basketball-playing husband of three years jealous by flirting with The Game.

"They talk all the time," alleges a source. "She even texts him while Lamar sleeps in their bed right next to her."

Seems the pair, along with Khloe's brother Rob, are workout partners, and the tab asserts that though things "started off innocently enough," the connection has "evolved into something more intimate."

The Game, who was photographed hugging the reality starlet during a recent hike in Runyon Canyon Park in Los Angeles, has supposedly been "a rock" for her, "listening to her problems, giving her advice and telling her she's beautiful inside and out. He keeps saying she needs a man like him, who’d treat her like the queen she is."

Huffs the insider, "Khloe and The Game may not be sleeping together yet, but her behavior is totally inappropriate -- it is absolutely cheating. If she’s so unhappy with Lamar, she should leave him."

Kim Kardashian Reveals Possible Baby Names, Responds To Weight Criticism: It’s ‘Bully-ish’

“We have a list, and some of them are K names some of them aren’t,” Kim said, of names she and beau Kanye West are considering for their soon-to-arrive baby. “[North] is not on our list.”

But the 32-year-old reality star admitted she hasn’t ruled out all directional names!

“You know what name I do like — but it probably won’t be on [our list], because it kinda goes with North — I like Easton. Easton West,” she said. “I think that’s cute.”

Kim also responded to harsh criticism of her baby weight gain, saying it’s “bully-ish” to call a pregnant woman “fat.”

“I mean, what do you expect? I hope I gain weight. I’m a little heavy,” she said. “There’s just more to love right now.”

Adding, “I have the rest of my life to be skinny and to lose weight and I’m not really worrying about it. If I have a craving I’ll go for it.”

Helena Christensen Defends Kim Kardashian: Criticizing A Pregnant Woman’s Body Is ‘Despicable’

In an open letter posted on Huffington Post, the 44-year-old supermodel and former Victoria’s Secret Angel blasted the criticism of the reality star’s changing baby body.

“It is disgusting and despicable the way that certain media constantly harass the pregnant Kim Kardashian,” Helena wrote. “It’s enough that they persistently project a negative focus on women’s physical shapes; but a public bullying and attacking of a pregnant woman because of her growing shape is just lower than low.”

The 32-year-old mom-to-be, who is due in July, has been called “fat” and likened to a whale in recent weeks.

As a mother herself, Helena (who has a 13-year-old son with “The Walking Dead” star Norman Reedus) said mocking a woman’s pregnant body should always be off limits.

“Whatever else the tabloid-media feel a sick need to spew out of their venomous bowels, let that be their lame choice. But there should be some moral compass. It doesn’t matter who the woman is or what she does,” she wrote. “No one should ever be publicly judged for their body, but to attack an expecting mother is sacrilegious and just plain wrong. A pregnant woman should not be criticized for her shape, period!!”

Kim also opened about being criticized for adding a few pounds during an appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on Thursday.
