Product Spotlight: Email Connect Keeps Prospective Clients Engaged March 14, 2013 3:33 PM | No TrackBacks

While attracting new clients to a website is one thing, connecting with them during their visits is another. By engaging potential clients early on, FindLaw’s Email Connect helps law firms keep prospective clients and delivers a wealth of client information in the process.

More and more attorneys and firms rely on website contact forms to gain important information about potential clients. The problem is that lawyers are often too busy to immediately respond to newly submitted forms. A delayed response can not only reflect poorly on the firm, but may cost it a new client as well.

That’s where FindLaw’s Email Connect comes in. Once a contact form is submitted, a U.S.-based FindLaw operator calls the prospective client within 30 minutes. The operator then verifies the information provided in the form and asks additional questions about the person’s location, the specifics of his or her legal needs, and more. That way, the individual receives attention early on, and the lawyer potentially secures a new client.

Email Connect not only keeps prospective clients engaged, it arms lawyers with a wealth of information they wouldn’t normally receive through standard contact forms. Less than 20% of potential clients provide any details about their legal issue in their contact form, leaving attorneys in the dark about the viability of their claims. Email Connect fixes that.

After the follow-up call is completed, FindLaw emails the law firm the original contact form as well as the newly collected details about the issue. Attorneys and firms can also access the information on INSIGHT, FindLaw’s Performance Analytics Dashboard. The additional information will allow lawyers to more accurately gauge the strength of any potential claims and better prepare for their initial client meetings.

For more information on how Email Connect can help your firm build its client base and better serve its clientele, speak with your FindLaw consultant today.
