I recommend this to all, who like to understand the essence of this wonderful healing technique, Tibetan Reiki (energy healing).

It happened 5 years ago, after I have been initiated for the first level of Tibetan Reiki practitioner. With this initiation I received a basic ability to be able to heal with "universal energy". Of course, being of a skeptical nature I did not believe in it completely...

This is when it had happened that my 8 year old pet rabbit tore her ligament of her hind leg after a bad jump. Her hind leg was dangling and she was unable to jump, poor thing could only drag it along and her body was crooked to one side. We ran to the veterinarian who said that since she is so old (they usually live to 5-6 years) it would make no sense to do surgery on the leg as most likely she wouldn't survive it. The vet said that unfortunately this would be the only option to fix her leg. We accepted this with somber resignation that she cannot be helped and will have to live the rest of her short life crippled.

This is when I realized that with my newly acquired Reiki knowledge, I may be able to help my dear bunny rabbit. I started to take her in my lap every day in the morning and at night for approximately 5-10 minutes as I usually did before. I started to pet her but now also treat her using the energy in my hands with the appropriate hand placements especially around the affected area at the hip-leg ligament.

One and a half month has passed like this and I have forgotten why I'm even doing this as it became a daily routine. At this time a friend of mine visited me at my home. As we were standing over my rabbit's cage, I was telling her about what has happened to her and that she will be disabled for the rest of her life. "It's funny, I don't see it" what her problem is, says my friend! This is when I look closer at my rabbit and indeed, I can't see any abnormality either! I encouraged my rabbit with my hand to jump and as she did so, the movement was nice and symmetric and she was not dragging her hind leg anymore! She became a completely healthy bunny rabbit again! This was astonishing; the healing process was working at such a smooth day-to-day way, that I, who was with her every day, did not even notice the change in condition. It took another set of eyes to see the change!

Amazement, astonishment and happiness... these were the feelings going through me at that moment together with pride that I was able to do such a thing! I was able to help my bunny rabbit when the doctor could not!

These energies fill me with great respect and humility ever since to this day. These euphoric happy feelings fill me at every Reiki healing session, and I feel honored that my hands can be a tool for so many people's and animals' healing.

The lesson is that to heal, one needs patience because these energies are working, they just need time. Paying attention to ourselves and to others, to notice the signs of change. We also need faith, that Yes, there is hope and we can heal even when the doctor says there is no hope!

Unfortunately these things are becoming extinct today: FAITH, TIME, PATIENCE, ATTENTION!

ps.: Tibetan Reiki Masters are not wizards or witches, they are a conduit for universal energy to pass onto the patient and trigger their body's self-healing mechanism to work better and faster at repairing damages and to realign back to the original healthy state. Just like with everything else that is good and useful, it takes time and patience to heal with Tibetan Reiki.

This new footage also features Zach Galifianakis displaying his beautiful singing voice, and his bizarre purchase of a giraffe. Although there is no wedding for these characters to rush back for, this new video proves there are plenty of strange antics for these guys to get into in the final installment of this hit comedy franchise.

The Hangover Part III comes to theaters May 24th, 2013 and stars Bradley Cooper, Jamie Chung, Zach Galifianakis, Melissa McCarthy, John Goodman, Heather Graham, Ken Jeong, Justin Bartha. The film is directed by Todd Phillips.

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment revealed the first photo for Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox, the latest in their DC Universe animated adventures that will debut on Blu-ray and DVD July 30. Take a look at this image featuring The Flash, then read on for more details regarding this new movie.

Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox Photo

The story is based on the 2011 comic book series by Geoff Johns and Andy Kubert. Here is the official plot description from Warner Bros.

"When time travel allows a past wrong to be righted for The Flash and his family, the ripples of the event prove disastrous as a fractured, alternate reality now exists where a Justice League never formed, and even Superman is nowhere to be found. Teaming with a grittier, more violent Dark Knight and Cyborg, Flash races to restore the continuity of his original timeline while this new world is ravaged by a fierce war between Wonder Woman's Amazons and Aquaman's Atlanteans. With breath taking action and an all-star voice cast, it's a bold, emotional vision that will forever change the landscape of the DC Universe."

Kevin Conroy will provide the voice of Bruce Wayne/Batman, Ron Perlman voices Deathstroke, Dana Delany plays Lois Lane, and Vanessa Marshall lends her voice to the Wonder Woman role. Other voice roles including Flash, Cyborg, Reverse Flash, Aquaman, and others will be revealed at a later date.

Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox comes to theaters July 30th, 2013.

For years Jaguar has remained the lone holdout when it comes to luxury all-wheel-drive sedans. That changes with the all-new 2013 Jaguar XJ AWD. With the 3.0-liter V6 engine featured in the new F-Type and a new all-wheel-drive system developed with help from the off-road experts at Land Rover, the 2013 XJ AWD looks to expand Jaguar's market share in regions of the United States where weather conditions have thus far eliminated a purely rear-wheel-drive candidate.

Model lineup
There are two all-wheel-drive versions of the new Jaguar XJ in the 2013 model-year lineup. The 2013 XJ AWD comes with 19-inch Aleutian 10-spoke alloy wheels, leather seats, a panoramic moonroof and more. The biggest difference when moving from the XJ AWD to the XJL AWD Portfolio is the five inches of rear-seat legroom through the XJL's longer wheelbase, but it also adds figured ebony veneer trim, 19-inch Toba alloy wheels, and 18-way heated and ventilated leather seats.

View Slideshow:  Best road trip cars

Under the hood
Both 2013 Jaguar XJ AWD versions carry the same 3.0-liter supercharged V6 engine. This V6 will get a lot of attention this year in Jaguar's new F-Type sports car, which itself is essentially Jaguar's beefy V8 with two cylinders sawed off and a supercharger added. In the 2013 XJ AWD, the V6 is rated at 340 horsepower, producing 332 lb-ft of torque between 3500 and 5000 rpm.

The biggest new drivetrain feature is Jaguar's Instinctive All-Wheel-Drive system, which measures grip levels and driver inputs, and uses algorithms to cut off rear-tire slippage, sending as much as 100 percent torque to the front or rear wheels as needed in slippery conditions. In dry conditions, the XJ AWD operates akin to a rear-wheel-drive car, starting with a 10-90 power split between the front and rear wheels, respectively. Engaging the Jaguar Drive Control's Winter setting on the 2013 XJ AWD sets the default power distribution to a 30-70 split, while preloading more torque for the front wheels from start-up and optimizing the XJ's systems to maximize traction.

The all-wheel drive is integrated with the 2013 XJ's dynamic stability control and anti-lock brake systems, giving it the ability to increase braking power in individual wheels as needed and effectively ration torque between the left- and right-side wheels. Drivers in the 2013 Jaguar XJ AWD also have access to the Jaguar Drive Control's Dynamic mode. In Dynamic mode the all-wheel-drive system operates as normal — strongly favoring the rear wheels and shifting torque to the front as needed — but the steering becomes a little heavier, the throttle response sharper, and the 8-speed automatic gearbox shifts more quickly and at higher rpm.

2014 Mazda CX-5 - front three-quarter view

Automotive News reports Mazda is set to turn a profit for the first time in five years. The automaker is more dependent on exports from Japan than other automakers based in that country, and as a result, it has long suffered at the hands of a strong yen. But the currency has declined in value by some 16 percent over the past six months and Mazda's shares have tripled in value to their highest level since 2008. Contrast this situation to a year ago when Mazda printed 1.22 billion new shares to raise cash. The move was equivalent to 70 percent of the company's then-outstanding stock, and values tumbled to record lows as a result.

Now that the yen has fallen to a value of around 96 per dollar, Mazda operations in the US are more profitable and the company now projects it will earn around $279 million for the next fiscal year. Automotive News says a one yen change against the dollar can have a 9.1 percent impact on Mazda operating profit compared to 4.7 percent at Subaru parent Fuji Heavy Industries or 3.1 percent at Toyota. Those automakers better insulate themselves from currency fluctuations with overseas manufacturing facilities.

2014 Kia Forte (© Kia Motors America)Click to enlarge picture

It's tough to stand out in the crowded compact sedan market, but Kia is making a name for itself with quality cars at reasonable prices. The all-new Forte has unusually good streamlining to aid fuel economy.

In 2011 Kia hit one out of the park with the redesign of its Optima full-size sedan. The Optima was a surprisingly large leap in sophistication, but Kia maintains that it was the launch of the 2009 Forte that actually signaled the brand's emergence as a main player; however, its significance was unfortunately lost in the depths of the Great Recession. Now Kia is already releasing another all-new Forte, and this time the message will be tough to miss, even in the crowded compact sedan market.

Model lineup
Kia has consolidated their Forte sedan trims to two levels, the entry-level LX and the more upscale EX. The LX is available only with the more basic 1.8-liter engine, while the EX is solely powered by a direct-injected 2.0-liter unit.

The EX trim's exterior receives fog lights and chrome door handles, and has the option of HID headlights, LED taillights, puddle lights and larger aluminum wheels.

The LX interior is well appointed for such an inexpensive compact. Sirius XM satellite radio is standard, as is Bluetooth, steering-wheel-mounted audio controls and a 60/40 split-folding rear seat for good pass-through cargo loading.

The EX trim adds a few niceties, including a rear-seat center armrest and a standard rear camera, but it's main claim to fame is the ability to option up with distinctly non-entry-level items such as a 10-way power driver's seat, dual-zone climate control and a heated steering wheel. Choosing the Premium package is the quick way to getting a full suite of these near-luxury features.

The Forte's forward-looking design includes an upgraded infotainment system that utilizes the driver's smartphone to enable Google-based navigation, voice-activated music management and hands-free phone service, among many other capabilities. Because the system is run by the customer's existing smartphone and access plan, Kia's UVO is fee-free and easily updateable.

Forte LX rolls on standard 15-inch steel or optional 16-inch aluminum wheels; the EX offers a 17-inch optional aluminum upgrade.

Watch Video:  2014 Kia Forte first drive

Under the hood
Good, basic motivation is the EX's 1.8-liter 4-cylinder calling card. The engine, a conventional double-overhead-cam design, uses industry-standard multipoint fuel injection to make 148 horsepower at 6500 rpm and 131 lb-ft of torque at 4700 rpm. It is paired to a 6-speed manual or optional automatic transmission with the same number of gears.

Moving up to the EX's 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine shows Kia is not afraid to bring the latest technologies to the price-slashing compact car sales competition. A gasoline direct-injection engine, the 2.0 hustles up 173 horsepower at 6500 rpm with 154 lb-ft of torque at 4700 rpm. It is paired with the 6-speed automatic.

All Fortes are front-wheel drive; there is no all-wheel-drive option.

According to Machinima, a YouTube entertainment network for gamers, history will be made Easter Sunday during AMC's The Talking Dead.

Machinima says it has purchased ad time on The Talking Dead, the TV show that AMC runs after The Walking Dead, thus becoming the first YouTube network to buy an ad that will air on traditional television. The 60-second commercial is for Mortal Kombat: Legacy 2, a multi-part, live-action online series.

STORY: Fox Restructures Programming With New Department, Partners With YouTube Channel

The new Machinima series is a follow-up to Mortal Kombat: Legacy, one of the most-viewed series on the Internet with 60 million views thus far.

Legacy 2, like its predecessor, is directed by Kevin Tancharoen. Actors include Harry Shum Jr. of Glee, Casper Van Dien of Starship Troopers, Brian Tee of The Wolverine, Mark Dacascos of Cradle 2 the Grave and Ian Anthony Dale of Hawaii Five-O. Cary Tagawa, who played Scorpion in the 1995 theatrical version of Mortal Kombat, plays the same role in Legacy 2.

Legacy 2 is produced by Warner Bros. Digital Distribution.

"We wanted to promote it in a way that would break through the fog of familiarity," said Machinima executive vp of marketing Kevin Doohan. "Connecting to a television event like The Walking Dead season finale, a show that our fans are deeply passionate about, will introduce millions more viewers to Machinima."
